This is what Gem said to me this morning when I asked her to go check on Theo. I was working downstairs and was sure Little Mister was getting into trouble (his specialty). It took a few times in asking, but then she responded with this and went to check on him.
Gem is growing up. I think she might also need her tonsils taken out.
And I found these pictures I had forgotten about. Gma K treated the kids to Build-A-Bear and the Cheesecake Factory a while back. Such lucky small children.
We knew Gem would like the process of Build-A-Bear where as Theo would really love his bear. We also had to convince Gem that she could not have the hideous rainbow peace bear or the holiday orientated turkey. I’m mean like that, but I didn’t want to look at those homely stuffed animals lousing around my house. We settled on a Panda.
There is my little cool cat daughter.
If Theo had to pick his number one tops favorite thing about American cuisine it would be ranch dressing.
And I’m glad the CF now has kids menus. Which makes it sound like I just trot my kids over there all the time. I don’t. Its a bit far for us.
Thanks Mom for loving my kids enough to provide fun experiences for them that I am too cheap to pay for! Hooray for Grandmas!
Also, on the drive home, before I stopped at the Asian bakery (this was right before Moon Festival) to buy some moon cakes and where Theo embarrassed me and acted like a hoodlum and the boss lady got mad at him for banging on the glass display cases, I caught him making sure his bear was enjoying blazing down the highway.
And of course I had to take a picture of it.

What?! Build a Bear?! With all those beautiful little critters that you create running around your home?! JK of course — pop culture trumps all. LOL! Too sweet!

I love Gem’s comment. She’s got such spunk, and little Theo is a sweet boy. I love that his bear got such a great view on the way home. Aren’t kids great? Good job on writing down the funny things they say and do.

Gem reminds me of Sahara. That spunk! I love the photo of Theo having his bear gaze out the window.
