Despite a delayed flight and Theo only sleeping a half hour our travel here was rather uneventful. Gem was a champ. We’ve decided she is at a great age to travel, at least for us.
And Gem is quite the bathing beauty. She loves the water so of course is completely loving going to the beach/pool twice a day. We divide up the day with lunch and a nap. Because they need the nap. The time change has been a beast and our little babies delight in waking up at 4:30-5am. You can kiss the vacation sleep in goodbye. I’d say that has been the biggest downer of the trip so far.
But its been fun to enjoy traveling with the grandparents and stuffing our faces with great food. Food makes or breaks it for me. Tonight we ate at a place called Pestos, which is a favorite. I guess you know you are in Hawaii when you have a coconut tart for dessert!

Oh, I can’t wait. I wish we would see you there, but get it all warmed up and broke in for us. How is the bed? Do I need to stop at Costco on the way and buy a foam topper? I’m such a bed snob.
