Make It Happen

9 December 2009

I’m still here! I’ve been busy getting out all the orders out from my Christmas sale, which keep me super busy but was also super fun! Thanks everyone who placed orders! I also went to two Christmas parties last Saturday and so it seems Christmas is in full swing.

The other night nothing good was on TV, which is how I usually end my night, basking in its blue glow. I’m usually so tired I can’t bring myself to do anything else and to just be entertained for a few hours is heavenly. But we are out of good TV now. And I was thinking of Christmas projects I wanted to do. So I started to make a tie for one of Theo’s stocking stuffers using this tutorial.

I spent my few evening hours under my task light stitching this baby up. I didn’t get too fussy about it because as I was stitching and ironing I realized it is probably too big for him. And then when he does get around to wearing it, it will soon be stained by M&M or fruit snack drool—treats that we use to pacify him in sacrament at church.

But still, I enjoyed giving it a go. And I think I’ll have to make just one more.

Way to go! Theo will be adorable in it, you’ll have to post a picture.
I was just going to go buy them for the boys but now you’ve got me thinking. I may call you for some tips. ;)
